Keeping Wake Up Warrior Members Engaged and Informed

With a rapidly growing community of members, Wake Up Warrior wanted to use bots and Workplace by Facebook to better connect with their audience and drive efficiencies within their internal workforce. Using The Bot Platform, they are now using bots as their main delivery system for updating their members, seeing significant increases in engagement and huge time savings for their staff.

Challenge

Wake Up Warrior, a life-coaching and motivational company that helps men and women become the best version of themselves, were looking for a partner to help them use bots on Workplace by Facebook to better communicate with their growing audience.

Wake Up Warrior were wanting to use bots for a number of use cases, including keeping their members up to date, connecting with event attendees, automating internal processes and opening up their knowledge base.

Solution

Using The Bot Platform, Wake Up Warrior have been able to quickly and easily build a number of bots on Workplace by Facebook.

One of their core bots is used to deliver personalized, high value content at scale to their Kings Kit community. Members are sent regular messages containing a video or audio clip along with some text and a link to the full article on Workplace. As well as acting as an effective communication tool, the bot also acts as a searchable depositary for all historical articles.

Wake Up Warrior are also seeing the benefits of utilizing bots for their conferences and events. Event attendees now receive scheduling updates, event reminders and training advice straight to their phones via the bot, and because the messages are delivered in Work Chat they’re seeing significantly higher engagement.

Another bot is a conversational version of The Stack, a training program they run that helps members liberate their minds by encouraging them to look at an issue from different perspectives. The bot asks a number of questions, and by the end of the experience users come out feeling much calmer and empathetic about the situation, as well as gaining insights or revelations that can be applied to other aspects of their life.

As well as using bots to increase their engagement rates with members, Wake Up Warrior have also been using bots to automate repetitive tasks and save their employees time. For example, one process that used to take 2 days of time every other week was achieved in just 10 minutes via a bot, and is now completely automated going forward.

How They Did It

Step 1: Identify pain points to be solved

Wake Up Warrior and The Bot Platform worked together to identify existing pain points that could be solved using bots, as well as other opportunities that could be improved or made more efficient through automation and bots on Workplace by Facebook.

Step 2: Design the first version of the bot and test

After outlining various opportunities where bots could positively impact their community of members and business operations, Wake Up Warrior were able to quickly build prototypes of how the bot would work and then test it with small groups of members in order to gain feedback.

Step 3: Launch and monitor usage

After pre-launch testing, Wake Up Warrior then rolled the bot out to their entire community of thousands of members across North America. Using The Bot Platform’s analytics, Wake Up Warrior were quickly able to see the benefits and improvements being made by deploying bots on Workplace by Facebook. 

Step 4 : Refine the experience over time and launch more bots

Over time, Wake Up Warrior have been able to tweak and refine their bots based on new insights or feedback from their users. Due to the successes they’ve seen, they have also launched a suite of other bots – from those that improve communication with their members, to others that automate internal processes and save their workforce time.
